Your handy list of barclaycard FAQs

Can I change the Barclaycard bundle on my account if I change my mind after my card has been approved?
Yes, at Barclaycard we understand that your lifestyle and financial needs may change over time. You can change the Barclaycard bundle you have selected on your account at any time by calling a Barclaycard advisor on 04 428 6000. There is no fee to change the bundle on your account. However, if you upgrade, the annual fee for your new bundle will be higher, so the new fee will be charged to your account on a pro rata basis. So, for example if you upgrade from a fee free Preferred bundle to a fee paying Priority bundle after six months, you will only pay for the remaining six months (AED 150). The following year, you will be charged the full annual fee of AED 300.

Note that you can only choose to upgrade your Barclaycard bundle.

What additional charges do I incur if I use my card internationally?

When you use your card outside the UAE, the currency of your transaction will be converted into UAE Dirhams (AED). For all foreign currency transactions, a processing fee will be levied. All credit cards, when used outside the UAE are charged an international conversion fee.
